Job Description Overview
- RF propagation
- Telecommunication concepts
- Understanding of Physical/MAC layers and Call Processing concepts
- Understanding of wire line and wireless data protocol stacks, to include IP, TCP, UDP, IPV6, IPv4, ICMP, DNS, etc.
- Understanding of software development and testing concepts for wireless handset for various air interface standards
- Familiarity with IP telephony network (SIP), IMS and IP telephony standards.
Top 5 Required Skills ?
- Exposure to commercial field/lab test and data analysis tools for wireless telephony product verification
- Handset test experience with 5G(SA, NSA, sub6, mmW)/4G(LTE TDD, FDD) operators or with commercial handset OEM's, e.g. UDP, TCP, HTTP, ping, etc.
- Understanding of call flows between handset/UE and NW in 5G/4G network
- Experience with troubleshooting/analyzing problems of Android devices
- Exposure in one or more of the following areas
- Must be local and live within 15-20 miles of Dallas, Texas
