Volt is immediately hiring for Facilities Maintenance Tech - Nights in Greensboro, NC

SHIFT:
12 hour shifts, 7p-7a
You will receive overtime every shift after working the first 10 hours ...2 hours OT, and then also after 40 hours for the week! 36hr weeks then 48hr week pattern.
PAY: $28-35 hour + 13% night shift differential + Overtime pay daily (after working 10 hours)

In this position you will support infrastructure around the fabrication area and would be responsible for:

• Perform scheduled maintenance on Facilities equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair down equipment and systems
• Checking on water and air systems throughout the facility
• Deciding on repair or replace parts for equipment, pumps, filters, etc.
• Maintenance of Control systems
• Documenting all changes in a CMMS system.
• Helping with facility and improvement projects, tool installations
• Monitor building management systems (hot water generators, chillers, cooling towers, air systems, closed loop water systems, DI Water system, wastewater treatment, toxic gas monitoring, acid waste neutralization system, vacuum pumps, and electrical distribution)

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• High School Diploma is required with an applicable trade AA preferred
• Good general understanding of all building systems including Air Compressors, HVAC, water and vacuum pumps, and plumbing
• Excellent troubleshooting skills (both mechanical and electrical)
• Maintenance of Control systems
• Experienced in break down of equipment to component level
• Computer skills- able to type work reports in CMMS
• Wear required PPE including respirator when working around chemicals
• 2+ years of trade experience desired. We will train on our systems, but experience with the following is preferred:
  • closed loop water systems, waste treatment systems, HVAC, and electrical systems

PAY: PAY: $28-35 hour + 13% night shift differential + Overtime pay daily (after working 10 hours)
