Special Education Teacher - Moncks Corner, SC

ProCare Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher to join our team for a contract position in the welcoming community of Moncks Corner, SC. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the academic and personal development of students with special needs within a supportive educational environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction and support to students in various special education settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including parents, therapists, and other educators, to ensure comprehensive support for students.
• Utilize creative and adaptive teaching strategies to address the unique needs of each student.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to student performance and IEP goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education.
• South Carolina Special Education Teacher certification.
• Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
