Pay: $19-23/hour
Shift: M-F 730am-330pm
What’s a typical day as a Batch Maker? You’ll be:
• Staging and manually charging necessary raw materials into mixing container.
• Following batch work instructions to manufacture quality products.
• Monitoring and controlling mixing equipment and other instruments to ensure batch production according to work instructions.
• Adjusting a batch under QC guidance until it is approved.
• Following manufacturing schedule and working with Supervisor regarding any potential improvements or concerns.
• Ensuring work area is safe, clean, and free of hazards, and communicating all spills or other hazards immediately to a supervisor.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have basic math skills.
• Have the ability to operate high-speed dispersers and other handling equipment.
• Can read digital scales.
• Have chemical manufacturing experience (preferred).
• Can meet the physical requirements of prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and the ability to lift 50-60 pounds.
