As a Specialty Pharmacy Shipping and Receiving Clerk you have an opportunity to make a real difference in the life of a patient within the specialty pharmacy, the fastest growing part of the pharmacy industry. In this role you will partner closely with the Operations Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians to coordinate, assemble, and package customer orders for shipment. You will also assist with stocking supplies and other tasks associated within the department. Pack out boxes for mail order and specialty prescriptions for UPS, USPS, courier delivery
Stock/condition ice for cold chain shipping
Manage off-site warehouse relations supply chain team
Coordinate delivery and receiving of packaging supplies
Manage packaging supply inventory with various vendors (including cold chain)
Pallet jack operations
Cardboard and pallet recycling
Available-Monday through Saturday within our operating hours of 7:30am-7:30pm EST. Saturday hours 7:30am-4:00pm on every 12-week rotation.
Position Compensation Range: $15.07 - $23.36 Hourly
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent. Experience: No experience required.
Licensure: May require a valid Virginia Driver’s License. PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping/traveling and driving. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50-100lbs. May be exposed to fumes, cold, outdoor climate and heat.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Warehouse experience.
Pharmacy experience.
