Title: Engineering I - Automation Technologist for Nuclear Science & Engineering Project Location: Richland, WA Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite Schedule: 9/80 (Every other Friday off) Citizenship Requirement: US Citizenship Required Position Summary: As an Automation Technologist within our Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Engineering Automation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include extracting and organizing technical data, coordinating software lifecycle documentation, creating user accounts, updating our engineering automation portal, and conducting routine data quality checks. You will collaborate closely with automation engineers and other engineering disciplines, ensuring seamless communication and coordination. Responsibilities: Provide technical support by creating user accounts, performing data quality checks, and assisting with tracking and documentation. Contribute to the development of training materials and change management documentation. Ensure the timely execution of tasks with a focus on quality standards for nuclear facilities. Cultivate a work environment that promotes openness, trust, teamwork, and innovation. Qualifications and Skills: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field with up to 1 year of experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). Strong computer and analytical skills, with the ability to efficiently organize and present data. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to teamwork. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Minimum Qualifications: Ability to analyze technical documents and classify information for retrieval. Strong attention to detail with the capability to extract relevant details from extensive datasets.
