Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking an intern to join our new Product Led team in Eagan, MN this Summer (2024). This internship is for a student who is currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Marketing, Communication, Learning & Development or related field.

In this role, you will collaborate with our talented Product Led team to create, build, and deliver training materials, visualizations and dashboards as BCBS of MN transitions to a Product Led organization. You will have a vital role in creating and improvingthe content to clearly explain important ideas to our stakeholders.

This role is hybrid and will require the individual to be onsite in Eagan, MN at least 2 days a week for the duration of the Internship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Content Development: Work with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into engaging and easy-to-understand training materials, including presentations, guides, and online tutorials.
  • Content Editing and Review: Review and edit existing training content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency with company standards and branding guidelines.
  • Dashboard Creation: Collaborate with team members to identify metrics and/or objectives and key results, and design intuitive and visually appealing dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
  • Data Analysis: Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data to extract actionable insights that will inform the design and content of dashboards.
  • Documentation: Document processes, best practices, and lessons learned throughout the internship to contribute to the knowledge base of the team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program, pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into clear and concise content.

  • Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data manipulation and analysis

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms is a plus.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Prior experience with dashboard creation, data analysis, or training content development is preferred but not required.
