What does a typical day look like as a Assistant Operator?
- Comfortable with ‘numbers,’ basic mathematical calculations and measurements of log, chip, and bark inventories
- Assist in monitor debarking drum for proper operation.
- Assist with optimizing debarking drum and chipper operations to maximize chip production.
- Assist with monitoring the ‘Stacker System’ and direct chips to the appropriate chip pile.
