Powertrain Process Engineer- Group Lead

The Powertrain Process Engineering Group Lead is responsible for leading Manufacturing Engineering functions for powertrain/propulsion programs.  Their primary role is to guide their Engineering team to develop and launch processes that meet all objectives for safety, quality, delivery, and cost Emotor manufacturing including stator and rotor assembly. 

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical equivalent 

• Minimum 3-5 years manufacturing experience 

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in with electric hairpin stator and rotor manufacturing. 

• Must be able to work and interact with all levels of the organization 

• Must have strong oral, written, presentation and organizational skills 

• Ability to analyze, interpret and present data to all levels of the company in easily understandable formats

• High demonstration of leadership and teamwork characteristics. 
• Ability to embrace cross-functional teams responsible for developing, specifying, building, and launching powertrain manufacturing processes. 
• Demonstrated abilities to plan and execute large scale projects in time and budget. 
• Ability to effectively lead, teach, coach and mentor employees. 
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and develop the best teams.  
• Proficient with Microsoft tools 
• Flexibility to work all shifts 
• Daily, weekend and holiday availability 
• Flexibility to work at off-site locations.
• International travel required, US passport or equivalent required.   

• Knowledge of advanced problem-solving skills and ability to manage data analysis to identify root causes and attack them to closure. 
• Knowledge of cost studies and strategic planning a plus. 
• Microsoft Office PowerPoint and Excel intermediate or advance knowledge
