Marion Toyota has a part-time position as an Application Technician to install  Window Tinting  & Paint  Film Protection on vehicles. This is an in-house position associated with our Detail Hub Department. If you are in currently in this role, including business for self, let's talk!


General Role:

Responsible for the installation window tinting and paint film protection on vehicles:


Our skilled hire will have precision hand and eye skills; have the ability to meet time allowances and specifications set by our dealership and/or manufacturer.  While support is available our Film and PPF installer will perform independently for the majority of the time. Having the ability to communicate effectively with multiple people from customers to internal team members, is a must. Strong follow-up, detail-oriented with good organizational skills is required. We provide state of the art equipment, facility and tools. We are looking for an experienced person who knows how to operate and maintain the equipment on a daily basis.


Requirements:

  • Good Computer Skills, including navigating software programs.
  • Valid Drivers License.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Right to Work in USA Document
  • Reliable Transportation to and from Work.
  • Full mobility, physically, visually and audial, (excellent hand-eye coordination).
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently on a project.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.
  • Ready to work.


Responsibilities


  • Using the shop tinting software program to input the vehicle window specifications.
  • Removing dirt and debris from windows.
  • Applying window primer before fitting the tint.
  • Cutting tint using authorized techniques.
  • Applying and smoothing tint onto vehicle windows.
  • Smoothing out imperfections.
  • Updating system with job information and completion date.
  • Stripping and removing old window tinting.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
  • Ability to read and understand written instructions.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and glass specifications.
