As a CNC Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in the production and machining of components for specialized handling equipment. Leveraging your expertise in CNC programming and machining techniques, you will work with state-of-the-art equipment to create precision parts that meet our clients' specifications. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Selecting the appropriate tools, materials, and cutting parameters to optimize machining processes and achieve desired outcomes.
- Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conducting thorough quality inspections to verify the accuracy and dimensional integrity of machined parts, making adjustments as needed to meet quality standards.
- Collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to optimize machining processes and streamline production workflows.
- Adhering to safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in precision machining and programming.
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages (e.g., G-code) and the ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Hands-on experience operating CNC mills, lathes, and other machining centers, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Familiarity with a variety of machining materials, including steel, aluminum, and alloys.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality workmanship.
- Prior experience working with large-scale steel mill equipment and specialized handling machinery is a plus.
