POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking to expand into Wichita and are looking for a contract or hourly, as-needed employee for our rapidly expanding business. While not full-time, we anticipate some weeks can reach up to 40 hours a week and we will pay above-market average for the right person. As a bathroom remodeler for Thrive, you will work under the supervision of our Overland Park-based Project Manager to complete jobs ranging from grab bars to complete demos and installations of walk-in showers, for which Thrive will provide materials.
As indicated in the title, we are looking for someone with direct experience with walk-in shower installation. The ideal candidate will be able to operate autonomously and with minimal direction from our Project Manager and will be able to proactively anticipate and address problems before they arise. The candidate selected for this job should be a subject matter expert on bathroom remodeling and will operate with minimal oversight.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work under project manager to complete jobs in a timely manner
- Operate autonomously and in a self-sufficient manner with minimal oversight
- Preferably owns truck and needed tools
Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., bend and stoop
- Must be comfortable working outside and walk on uneven ground
- Must not have any violent felonies and must be able to pass a background check on this basis as a condition of employment
