Salary:

Clearwater Construction is currently accepting resumes for a Mobile/Service Truck Mechanic to support operations in the mid-Atlantic region.  The shop facilities supporting this position are located in Mercer, PA but you will be expected to travel to job sites throughout Pennsylvania and along the eastern seaboard. 

As the Mobile/Service Truck Mechanic, you will handle service calls roadside and/or on the job site while demonstrating proficiency in the diagnosis and repair of construction equipment and vehicles. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone with a positive attitude, excellent technical skills, and the desire to succeed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform in-field routine preventative maintenance on construction equipment and vehicles
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues.
  • Perform in field equipment repairs.
  • Operate and test equipment to ensure proper functions
  • Document and submit necessary paperwork in an organized and timely manner

SKILLS + REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass drug test
  • Minimum Class B CDL preferred but not required
  • Must be willing to travel overnight
  • Ability to lift heavy tools and parts regularly
  • Must supply own hand tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude and technical ability
  • Positive attitude with the ability to take direction
  • Prior experience with construction machinery including cranes and foundation drilling equipment preferred
