POSITION SUMMARY
Provide machine operators with product and materials in order for them to perform their job. Move finished product to the belt for final inspection.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
- Read work orders to determine work assignments for your machine operators and material needs.
- Visually compare current applicators to new applicators as you open each box for machine operators. Match measured size to size on label.
- Ensure that each machine operator is stocked with product. Replenish product as needed. Each machine should have 8 empty cartons, 12 cartons of caps, and enough applicators to run for the shift.
- Attach identifying labels to boxes, verifying product information from the work order to label. Sign labels after product box is full and ready to be taped shut.
- Move materials to and from department and production areas, using hand trucks.
- Place boxes of caps onto lift, raise lift and tilt product into hoppers, lower lift.
- Place boxes of brushes or daubers on table by each machine for operators. Verify correct product with a ruler and compare to previous product BEFORE mixing product together.
- Perform quality checks as required, looking closely at cap, dauber or brush, liner, and solder.
- Stack boxes of finished product on handcart (3 high) and move product over to belt. Use lift assist and place boxes onto belt.
- Clear jams for machine operators when required and only if properly trained to do so. Notify mechanic on issues you are not trained for.
- Maintain storage areas to ensure department cleanliness. Sweep floors periodically.
- Empty scrap bins when needed.
- Make boxes for finished product for operators and lining machine(s).
- Other Misc. duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED).
Experience:
6 plus months of experience in a production environment.
