Summary:
Pyramid Healthcare in Belleville is seeking an experienced Counselor to join our amazing team. Pyramid Healthcare’s Belleville inpatient rehab facility offers individualized treatment for adult males ages 18 and over. Residential inpatient services are typically recommended for those who have never completed treatment or have tried unsuccessfully. Our Counselor are responsible for assessments, utilization review, and clinical services.
Responsibilities:
- Assists facilities in the overall function of daily schedule including but not limited to: assessment, utilization review, and clinical services.
- Provides individual and group therapy to individuals served in treatment.
- Assists with completion of client intake assessments.
- Trained in all working processes of utilization reviews and completes insurance reviews as needed.
- Maintains caseload as needed.
- Assists the Director in covering needed services for the facility.
- Clerical duties as required for maintenance of client files.
- Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment.
- Maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic environment for clients including crisis intervention.
- Other duties as assigned.
Shift:
Sunday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:00pm with weekends
Education, Experience:
Must meet one of the following:
1) A Master’s Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a clinical specialty in the human services field) or other related field.
OR
2) A Bachelor’s Degree with the same educational requirements
- Facilitating process group therapy, individual therapy and family therapy.
- Drug and Alcohol/Mental Health experience.
- Treatment planning experience.
