As a Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the functionality and longevity of construction equipment. Join our growing company and contribute to the success of the construction industry!

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on various heavy equipment including forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, cranes, and loaders.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve potential equipment issues before they become major problems.
  • Maintain detailed records of performed maintenance and repairs for future reference.
  • Collaborate with equipment operators and other technicians to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment components, such as engines, transmissions, and hydraulic systems, for repairs or replacements.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations during maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in equipment maintenance techniques through training sessions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience as an equipment maintenance technician in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations and maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand/power tools.
  • Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulations related to equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Valid driver's license.
