Are you an experience in Preventative Maintenance and looking for a job where your attention to detail and experience can make a difference? Look no further! Villari Foods is currently seeking an PM Maintenance Technician to join our team in Warsaw, North Carolina.

 

As a 3rd Shift Preventative Maintenance Technician, you will Provide mechanical support service in response to operational changes resulting from malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement, or other modification of existing mechanical systems and/or equipment. The 3rd Shift Preventative Maintenance Tech position will be located at The Pork Company and Villari Brothers manufacturing plants as needed.


Job duties:


  • Ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively, and in a timely

manner.

  • Works with maintenance Manager and/or Supervisor to plan work priorities, obtain

necessary supplies, and assess skills needed to complete tasks.

  • Completion of P.M's.
  • LOTO issues and repairs to safety guards as needed.
  • Maintain chemical levels.
  • Back up for tracking supply orders, and other resources used for inventory purposes or to

complete upcoming projects.

  • Evaluates systems or facilities to determine maintenance or repairs that need to be

performed to keep the plant up and running.

  • Assist with refrigeration issues.
  • Rebuild equipment.
  • Keep maintenance area and VB/TPC grounds cleaned as needed.
  • Back up on call for refrigeration.
  • Assist with plant electrical issues.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
  • Extensive knowledge of building systems such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to identify issues and to determine repairs that are needed.


 

To qualify for this job, you must have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience.
  • Experience in a high-volume food manufacturing environment or related field preferred.

  • Plummer, refrigeration, and Mechanical experience is a plus.
  • Electrical experience is a plus.
