Position: Housing Supervisor 

 

Job Summary: Responsible for oversite of day-to-day operations and administration of residential facilities ensuring a safe, supportive, and structured environment conducive to residents' recovery. This position reports to an Associate Director of Housing.  

 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Duties include, but are not limited to:  

  • Supervise, hire, and coach housing staff of assigned residential properties across multiple shifts. 
  • Respond to all neighbor concerns in a timely manner. 
  • Respond to, document, and determine best response to all incidents at the home in a timely manner. 
  • Ensure Code of Conduct is being followed by residents and respond adequately when not. 
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals in recovery residing in the housing program. Monitor residents for potential warning signs of concerning reoccurring symptoms and refer them for more support. 
  • Monitor resident progress and ensure adherence to program guidelines. 
  • Review, approve, and communicate all housing removals or departures brought forward by Housing Coordinators. 
  • Select resident managers for leadership positions and facilitate routine resident manager meetings and training. 
  • Participate in treatment team meetings for residents as needed. 
  • Finalize and approve weekly phase ups and overnight passes. 
  • Attending Ohio Recovery Housing training and conferences as scheduled and complete ORH surveys. 
  • Facilitate random and scheduled drug screenings as needed. 
  • Maintain accurate record of housing census. 
  • Collect and track rent payments from eligible residents. 
  • Complete monthly house inspections and routine safety equipment checks. Maintain general upkeep of homes (furnishings, cleaning supplies, etc.). Communicate issues (pest control, appliances, etc.) with maintenance as needed. 
  • Daily presence at residence to ensure Code of Conduct is being followed, ensure residence is free from alcohol, illegal substances, and free of any other prohibited items, and ensure all residents are accounted for. 

 

Required Experience/Certifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • 3 years of relevant experience programs related to substance abuse recovery or supportive housing 
  • CDCA, LSW, LCDC II/III
  • Valid State of Ohio Driver's License and car insurance 
  • Must pass BCI check, all Corporate Compliance checks, and employment drug screen 


Schedule

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm (some evenings and weekends)
