The Ophthalmic Assistants are responsible for gathering the patient’s history, medications, returning patient phone calls and perform specialized eye tests to help assist the Doctor’s medical examination. Applicants must have a friendly professional demeanor, be detail oriented, work well in a team setting, and have a high work ethic. Hours will vary between 7:40 am – 5:00 pm Monday-Friday, not to exceed 40 hours per week. NO nights and weekends = great work-life balance! Company paid national certification opportunities are provided. Starting wage, without experience is $18.00/hour with a full benefits package (18 days of paid vacation, 1 week of extended illness, paid holidays & bereavement, 85% employer paid health/RX and vision, dental, life insurance, a generous retirement plan and more!).
