AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN NISSAN/INFINITY CERTIFIED

Job Summary:
The Automotive Technician (Nissan/Infinity) Certified at Napleton Nissan in Schererville, Indiana is responsible for performing advanced diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on Nissan vehicles. This individual will be a skilled professional with strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. The Automotive Technician will work as part of a team to ensure the efficient operation of the service department and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, union position with a competitive pay rate of $41.4 to $48 per hour, paid weekly. In addition all union benefits.  Napleton Auto Group is an equal opportunity employer and encourages a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnosis, repair, and maintenance on Nissan and vehicles in a timely and efficient manner
- Use diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify vehicle issues and provide recommended solutions
- Communicate with customers about vehicle repairs, providing estimates and explanations of work to be performed
- Contribute to the overall success of the service department by meeting or exceeding productivity goals and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date on latest automotive technology and attend training sessions as needed to improve skills and knowledge
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working order
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and others

Requirements:
- Nissan/Infinity Certification or equivalent experience in automotive repair and maintenance
- Proven experience working as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or similar setting
- Strong technical knowledge and proficiency with diagnostic equipment and tools
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills
- Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check
