Are you an experience in Industrial Controls and looking for a job where your attention to detail and experience can make a difference? Look no further! Villari Foods is currently seeking an Industrial Controls Tech to join our team in Warsaw, North Carolina.

 

At Villari Brothers, the Industrial Controls Tech will be responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of electrical equipment for The Pork Company and Villari Foods manufacturing sites. Your responsibilities will include providing preventive maintenance, identifying problems with equipment parts or wiring, and making the necessary repairs. This position will require you to be hands-on and troubleshoot repairs throughout the manufacturing facilities daily

 

Job duties:


  • Provides hands-on technical support for automation, servo-motion, PLC, and electrical

   repairs.

  • Analyzes control-related problems on equipment and provides needed repairs.
  • Develops, maintains, and standardizes documentation and software for applicable

  equipment.

  • Directly supports the maintenance team in troubleshooting and training at the

  component and programming levels.

  • Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve current issues related to any automated   concerns.
  • Assists in all required audits and inspections and corrects maintenance deficiencies.
  • Works with outside contractors as necessary to safely perform jobs to company

   specifications.

  • Works on special projects assigned by the Director of Engineering and Maintenance Manager.
  • Some minor panel buildings in the accordance with engineering drawings.
  • Field wiring devices on equipment in the shop or production floor.
  • Sensor and field device set up.
  • Develop technical SOPs for new and existing equipment under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Understanding and ability to work with PLC's.
  • Program and troubleshoot drives.
  • Troubleshoot and repair motion control devices.
  • Troubleshoot, install and repair motor control circuits.
  • Troubleshoot and repair e-stop circuits.
  • Perform all other tasks assigned by Supervisor or Management.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from personnel inside and outside the company.

 

To qualify for this job, you must have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of related experience is required.
  • Experience in a high-volume food manufacturing environment or related field preferred.
  • Vocational training and/or an Electrician License are preferred.
