Salary:

The Account Manager plays a crucial part in developing and maintaining long-term relationships with existing customers. Responsibilities include understanding assigned customer’s unique purchasing needs, managing day-to-day requests, and driving used serviceable material (USM) sales to maximize customer satisfaction and revenue growth. Success in this role requires a combination of business acumen, relationship management expertise, and a deep understanding of the aviation industry. 

This position works closely with Business Development and Sales Support teams to ensure that all materials sales transactions are carried out smoothly and efficiently. 

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for assigned strategic accounts and build strong relationships based on trust and professionalism. 
  • Field incoming requests for quotation. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of existing clients' business objectives, challenges, and opportunities. 
  • Assist Business Development peers with identifying proactive opportunities to add value for key customers. 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as Business Development, Sales Support, Product Line, Repairs, and Warehouse to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, and emerging technologies. 
  • Attended industry conferences and networking events. 
  • Other tasks and projects as directed by management  

   

Required Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience  
  • 3+ years’ experience in a customer-facing role  
  • Prior aviation industry experience a plus  
  • Strong communication, consultation, and relationship management skills  
  • Detail orientation with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment  
  • Proficient in CRM and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
