Ascendigo is a nonprofit organization that enhances the lives of children and adults living with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) through therapeutic recreation, employment, community integration, education and an array of behavioral health services. We are headquartered in Carbondale, CO. Currently, Ascendigo employs more than 50 full- and part-time year-round staff members and approximately 30 additional employees during our seasonal summer camp programming.

Core Responsibilities: The Life Enrichment Clinical Lead will be responsible for ensuring meaning and purpose across client programs and services. This includes, but is not limited to, coordination of care, coordination of supervision, creation of staff support plan, and main liaison between the CCB, BCBA’s, Curriculum director, field leads and skills trainer.  


Tasks:

Operations

  • Support the Director and Clinical Supervisor, with onboarding of new clients.
  • Schedule and facilitate quarterly ILP team meetings with families, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with the Community Centered Board (CCB) as required by third-party funding sources.
  • Run IP quarterly meetings and oversee GER notification.
  • Create a system to ensure maintenance on training of staff and regular check ins to ensure the Ascendigo Way is happening at all times.
  • Clinical coordination with Coordinator to ensure schedules are filled with ILP 8 domains i.e. social, passions, exercise, independent living etc. to make for a full, quality well rounded life.

Clinical

  • Responsible for the ongoing development of client Support Plans.
  • Ensure teams are making progress on identified goals.
  • Meet with family and BCBA PRN (weekly, biweekly, monthly etc.)

Field Lead Management

  • Support field leads with development of materials and resources for each client’s program.
  • Manager of all field leads and main advocate for their needs.
  • Build relationships and rapport with clients. Be a role model for staff on approach, rapport, always having a goal etc.

Client (up to 6 clients)

  • Write and update staff plans along with fidelity checklists.
  • Development and organization of participant materials.
  • Communicate with vocational manager on job updates, job schedules and ongoing development specific to each client’s program.

Other

  • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive large van.
  • Must be age 21 or over and have legal working status.
  • Should have at least a high school diploma and at least 3 years in a related field.
  • Able travel for occasional professional development and client activities.


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: This job requires certifications or successful training completion for Ascendigo curriculum, CPR/First Aid, crisis management and medication administration.
