EIT (Electronic Instrumentation & Technology) is looking for a SMT Technician (experience with Siplace equipment a plus) to join our team in our Danville, VA plant! We will train and develop an experienced SMT technician that has a desire to learn ASMPT Siplace technology.

The position of SMT Technician is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ASMPT Siplace equipment.

Job Description:
The position of SMT Technician is responsible for maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of ASMPT Siplace equipment.
- Become proficient in systems technologies over time
- Perform complex maintenance repairs and overhauls
- Perform complete documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repair work, and failures
- Provide support and work with networks, IT infrastructure, SQL databases and servers, etc
Qualifications and Experience:
- Two-year Associates Degree or technical certification with extensive experience - preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience within the electronics industry - required
- Experience with SIPLACE & DEK equipment and SIPLACE & DEK software - preferred
- Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
- May include limited domestic and international travel
