Cabot Citrus Farms

Cabot’s first U.S. destination, Cabot Citrus Farms, will feature Cabot’s signature combination of world-class golf, luxury accommodations, and real estate opportunities. Formerly known as World Woods Golf Club, the newly acquired Cabot property is set to open in early 2024 with two revitalized 18-hole golf courses named The Karoo and The Roost, a par-3 course named The Wedge and a short course named the Squeeze, a new clubhouse and unparalleled practice facilities. In addition to golf, the property will offer luxury accommodations, real estate, food and beverage offerings, and amenities.

Located in the central-west region of Florida, aptly known as the Nature Coast, the property is set across 1,200 acres of pristine natural beauty. Tucked between state forests and nature reserves, Cabot Citrus Farms is perfectly situated to enjoy laid-back southern living while in convenient proximity to major urban centers. Tampa and Orlando are a short drive away at 50 and 80 minutes, respectively.

As Cabot Citrus Farms IT Support Engineer, you will play an integral role in creating a modern and nimble IT environment that keeps our team efficient, productive, and mobile. In this newly created position, you will be immersed in the setup, day-to-day administration, and support of all technology at Cabot Citrus Farms.

On a daily basis, the IT Support Engineer will be deeply involved in system administration, network management, and the deployment of new hardware & software solutions.

Reporting to Cabot Citrus Farm’s IT Manager, the IT Support Engineer delivers the technology solutions that enable our team members to create incredible guest experiences, delivering on our mission to “Create Magical Places Where Remarkable Memories are Made.”

As part of a growing pre-opening team, your role is integral to ensuring our facility is fully operational and ready to service our guests. Your day will involve the installation/configuration of workstations & network equipment (including wireless access points, network switches, and cable terminations), Level 1 & 2 deskside support, Office 365 Administration, software support, and IT asset management.

• Act as a first point of contact for team members seeking technical assistance.
• Assist team members with password resets, account setup/access, desktop deployment, printer setup/troubleshooting, software installs, system patching, and connectivity issues on Windows, MacOS, and mobile devices.
• Provision & de-provision various hardware assets (e.g., Laptops, desktops, servers, network devices).
• Maintain a detailed IT hardware and software inventory.
• Assist in managing Active Directory and Office 365 platforms.
• Diagnose recurring technical issues and implement solutions to address root causes.
• Assist in cybersecurity, privacy, and data management initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in a college or university-related field preferred
• Must be proficient in English.
• Familiar with Active Directory administration/management
• Possesses basic network knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to explain technology concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Technology savvy with a “can do” attitude.
• Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products
• MacOS experience is considered an asset.
• Preference will be given to candidates who have any of the following certifications: A+, Network+, CCNA, MCP/MCSE
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in a hospitality-related field.
• Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation
• Experience with Sophos, Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, and FortiVoice is considered an asset.
• Highly responsible and able to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion.
• Highly organized and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
