Integrated Services for Behavioral Health (ISBH) is a community-minded, forward-thinking behavioral health organization helping people along the road to health and well-being. Essential Functions:
- Assesses or defines the strengths and needs of referred individuals and families.
- Determines substance use disorder level of care and diagnoses substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health disorders.
- Ensures linkage to other services needed through the creation of comprehensive service treatment plans.
- Works directly with referral sources to build rapport, coordinate quick assessment, and ensure timely access to treatment for persons served.
- Provides group and individual counseling to individuals participating in IOP.
- Follows program guidelines to ensure a minimum of 9 hours of total services are available to individuals determined to need IOP level of care.
- Works with clients to remove barriers to IOP attendance.
- Directly provides and coordinates clinical and social services that are solution-focused and build on family and community strengths.
- Participates in utilization review and quality assurance activities as directed.
- Maintains necessary documentation, participates in program evaluation, attends team and program planning meetings, cross-systems training, and acquires knowledge of community resources.
- Works to understand ASAM and keep up on all necessary treatment planning and documentation for IOP.
- Meets billing productivity requirements established by Integrated Services for Behavioral Health.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must have a current license/certification: LSW, LPC, LISW, LPCC, CDCA, LCDC II, LCDC III, or LICDC.
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Understanding of American Society of Addiction Medicine levels of care.
- Experience with substance use disorder treatment.
- Experience with timely and accurate documentation of treatment services in an electronic health record.
- Demonstrated high degree of cultural awareness.
- Experience with multi-need individuals and families and a broad knowledge of community service systems.
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
- Must be able to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment.
