Summary
Ascension Learning Academy is a two star Quality Rated early childcare facility located in Morrow, Georgia. We are looking to add more staff to our amazing team! We have positions available starting immediately. Applicants must have knowledge of state rules and policies and adhere to all center policies and procedures. The hours are from 8:00am-5:00pm
Duties
Teachers will develop and execute lesson plans that are engaging and developmentally appropriate for infants and toddlers
Teachers must have a lot of patience
Teachers are responsible for following all Bright From the Start and Quality Rated rules and regulations
Teachers must greet families and children with an upbeat attitude
Ensure that children are clean and engaged daily
The right candidate should demonstrate mastery skill level in transitions, hygiene, parent-teacher communication
Must be able to professional at all times
Lifting up to 40 pounds is required
Must be willing to achieve center standards and goals
Must be able to complete task with detail and in a timely manner.
Requirements
Able to understand instructions and be a self-starter
Must have a clear criminal background
Experience in a licensed childcare facility
Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills
Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Passion for children
Must be able to multi-task
Must be dependable and reliable
Must be available for Professional Development that are sometimes outside of normal business hours
Must be available for all training and center meetings may they be conducted on site or off site and sometimes outside of normal work week and work hours.
