Job Title: Junior Event Assistant

Position Overview:

As a Junior Event Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of various events. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about the event industry and eager to gain hands-on experience in event coordination and management. You will work closely with our experienced team members to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality events that leave a lasting impression on our clients and attendees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the coordination of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and equipment rentals.
  2. Provide administrative support, such as maintaining event databases, managing RSVP lists, and preparing event materials.
  3. Assist with on-site event setup, including signage, decorations, and audiovisual equipment.
  4. Serve as a point of contact for event attendees and vendors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
  5. Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, evaluating event success metrics, and preparing event recap reports.
  6. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in event management to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
  7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior team members.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive attitude towards professional development in the event industry.
