Job Title: Junior Event Assistant
Position Overview:
As a Junior Event Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of various events. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about the event industry and eager to gain hands-on experience in event coordination and management. You will work closely with our experienced team members to ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality events that leave a lasting impression on our clients and attendees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the coordination of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, and equipment rentals.
- Provide administrative support, such as maintaining event databases, managing RSVP lists, and preparing event materials.
- Assist with on-site event setup, including signage, decorations, and audiovisual equipment.
- Serve as a point of contact for event attendees and vendors, addressing inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
- Assist with post-event activities, such as gathering feedback, evaluating event success metrics, and preparing event recap reports.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in event management to contribute innovative ideas to the team.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by senior team members.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by event schedules.
