Quick Ship Global is looking for a professional freight broker to help book and broker international freight for our increasing customer base. We need someone who is stong in international law, has a strong customs broker, and has a consistant book of business to help grow our client base.
Responsibilities
The broker will be responsible for booking their own freight, tracking and sourcing drivers, making new connections with prospected new clients. The broker will be required to attach papwork through our TMS system and apply all bills related to the transit. They will be required to finalize all billing and pay the vendors responsible for moving the freight. The broker will be responsible for booking our clients freight and following up with the client throughout all steps of the transit.
Qualifications
The broker must have 3-5 years of on the job experience. Must be proficient with a standard broker TMS system and understand the steps in booking freight. Understanding the NVOCC process or having worked for an NVOCC is required. At least 3 years of experience working for an IAC and understanding the process is required. 3 years of proven employement working for a Drayage company is recommended.
