Operations Manager

An established recycling company has an immediate opening for a Plant Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations at their recycling yard in Yuma, AZ. The primary duties include negotiating scrap purchases, ensuring efficient production while maintaining safety, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and adhering to budgetary goals. The manager is also required to meet with suppliers on-site and handle various administrative tasks. The work environment is a mix of indoor and outdoor work, involving interactions with employees and customers from diverse backgrounds. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 3 years of managerial experience in the scrap industry, be bilingual in English and Spanish, and have a range of computer skills. Compensation includes a base salary in the $85-110k range, paid time off, 401k matching, insurance coverage, a bonus plan, and relocation assistance.
