MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Are you a skilled Maintenance professional looking for a new challenge? Seeking a dedicated Maintenance Supervisor to lead Maintenance team in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of facilities. From machine servicing to building maintenance, your expertise will be crucial in maintaining a safe and effective work environment.

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directing associate in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance.
  • Assisting in diagnosing and correcting machinery malfunctions.
  • Overseeing the dismantling, assembling, and installation of industrial machinery.
  • Managing parts inventory and developing preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Maintaining records for historical machine performance and repair history.
  • Collaborating with Operations and Engineering for process improvement.
  • Addressing critical situations to minimize factory downtime.
  • Recommending and managing outside contractors when needed.
  • Handling building and facility maintenance, including HVAC, fire protection, and security systems.
  • Leading human resource activities such as recruitment, coaching, counseling, performance management, and employee development.

 

QAULIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to work in a factory environment with varying ambient temperatures.
  • Associates degree or higher preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing settings.
  • Lean practices and Electrical/HVAC license.
  • Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Familiarity with production systems and processes.
  • Analytical thinker with expertise in electrical power distribution and PLCs.
  • Significant knowledge in plumbing, welding, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Understanding of OSHA standards and crisis management.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish speaker preferred.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
