Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00 -$20.00
1st and 3rd shift Available-
1st shift hours 6am-230pm,
3rd shift hours 10pm-630am

What’s a typical day as a CNC Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Setting up and operating machines, including tooling changes and programming CNC controls
• Performing preventive maintenance on machinery
• Working on a variety of complex parts to close tolerances with average to complicated set-ups
• Working with minimal support or supervision
• Selecting appropriate feeds, speeds, and tooling
• Assisting in problem-solving and troubleshooting of equipment breakdowns and production efficiency issues
• Ensuring appropriate material and tools are available
• Supporting Lean Enterprise, Quality, Safety, and Productivity initiatives through appropriate levels of participation
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma or GED
• Possess knowledge of the general Health & Safety procedures of Kennametal Inc.
• Have good communication skills
• Are mechanically inclined and able to demonstrate strong mathematical skills
Have 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Have machine operation experience (preferred)
• Have technical school certification or Apprenticeship program completion (preferred)
• Are able to work in a team environment
• Are committed to quality and customer satisfaction
