Responsibilities
  • Visionary Leadership: Spearhead and motivate the finance & accounting team, offering innovative direction to bolster market share expansion, optimize profitability, and attain enduring business goals.
  • Financial Strategy Development: Formulate and implement financial strategies, encompassing protocols and methodologies, to bolster prudent decision-making and foster sustainable expansion.
  • Asset Safeguarding: Institute, supervise, and reinforce internal controls to protect company assets.
  • Financial Consolidation: Collate financial data from various subsidiaries into a cohesive financial statement. Streamline intercompany transactions and balances for a lucid overview of overall financial well-being.
  • Financial Reporting Expertise: Craft comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and requisite datasets to facilitate informed decision-making for all channel and site leaders.
  • Cashflow Oversight and Projection: Monitor and project the cashflow of the business. Oversee treasury functions and bank reporting.
  • Operational Enhancement: Lead initiatives to improve processes across the finance function to support operations across multiple states. Implement digitalization to enable efficient organizational scaling. Enhance accounting controls and processes to align with US GAAP auditing standards.
  • Financial Consultancy: Serve as a financial advisor to the CEO, COO, and group President, enhancing financial performance, providing insights on financial matters, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Oversight of Human Resources: Direct the Human Resource function including payroll, benefits administration, on-boarding, formulation of human resource policies, recruitment, and performance management.
Requirements
  • BA in accounting
  • 10+ years accounting experience, with a clear progressive responsibilities
  • 5+ years management experience
  • Experience in construction, service or distribution sectors is strongly preferred.
  • CPA or CMA
  • Strong Excel

Additional qualifications:

  • Exposure to M&A and consolidations
  • Experience with process improvement, change management & ERP implementation
  • Knowledge of ADP and/or RFMS
