Role: The Employee Relations Generalist (ERG)will work closely with Human Resources Manager (HRM). This position will be responsible for the day-to-day HR functions. In addition, this position requires a strong ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Chief Responsibilities:
- Preparing paperwork for new hire orientations.
- Staff recruitment.
- Training and evaluation.
- Implementation of firm policies and procedures.
- Planning of office functions.
- Data entry of employee information which includes but it is not limited to: New hires, Terminations, Employee changes, Any other documentation that needs to be added to the employee file.
- Assist with Paid Time off (PTO) tracking and reconciliation.
- Perform other administrative tasks such as filing, sorting and scanning employee information.
- Travel to offices within the state as required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Experience/Requirements:
- Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in a law firm or other professional services firm.
- Demonstrated human resources experience, strong interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Exceptional attitude and customer service skills.
- Works well in a team environment
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Ability to multitask.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
