Can you match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks? A dynamic organization with a growing team is looking for an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk.


What you get to do every day


- Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it


- Assist the AP/Finance Department with administrative tasks


- Handle the customer service needs of internal business partners


- Complete special projects on an as-needed basis


- Assist with internal and external audits as needed


- Execute full-cycle A/P


- Manage validating, recording, and mailing checks and expedite special handling


- Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies


- Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed

- Demonstrated communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- Spreadsheet and database capabilities

- AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

- 3+ years of experience in an A/P role preferred

- Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

- Practical knowledge of account reconciliation

- Well-founded grasp of procurement

- SAP experience

- Expertise in 3 Way Matching

- Vendor Management experience highly desired

- General familiarity with procurement

- Wide ranging experience with Posting Journal Entries

- Quality experience with journal entries

- Enter Vendor Invoices experience preferred

- Proven knowledge of Purchase Orders

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
