Mechanical Designer

Job Requirements:

• Associates or Bachelor of Engineering degree a positive.
• Sheet metal design experience 5 plus years.
• Bonus if it’s in the Power industry.
• Effectively used an ERP/MRP system.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
• Proficient in 2D CAD (AutoCAD LT).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel and Word.

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop top-level sheet metal assemblies, parts, and part prints in 3D software.
• Layout and develop busbar design.
• Create bill of materials for part manufacturing.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Work with and support LEC CAD designers to ensure part specs meet requirements.
• Access and ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
• Receive and complete engineering change requests.

Pay Details: $29.00 to $39.00 per hour
