MORE ABOUT THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE POSITION:

CareerStaff Unlimited partners with companies around the country to raise the bar in healthcare by setting new standards for quality care and personalized service. Responsibilities for this Licensed Practical opportunity include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintain absolute security and confidentiality of all medical records
2. Attend sick calls with the physician to see inmates/residents
3. Control medication, syringes, and other medical supplies or equipment and inventory as required by established procedures
4. Observe and record inmate/resident behavior
5. Operate pill calls, dispense medication, and document as required by applicable policies and/or procedures
6. Inspect the medical unit for items that could be used as contraband by inmates/residents; securely store or safely dispose of supplies and equipment
7. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
8. Escort inmates/residents or coordinate the movement of inmates/residents to and from different areas for medical treatment
9. Foster a caring environment that respects patient's dignity
10. Maintain a high quality of nursing care for individuals with psychiatric and mental health illnesses

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE LPN LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE:

1. 1+ years of recent nursing experience required
2. BLS issued through American Heart Association
3. Must be eligible to work in the United States
4. LPN license in OK
5. Valid driver's license
