Acute Care OTs are needed in Dallas, TX! This position pays$48/hr for local candidates, and travel packages are available for those more than 50 miles from the facility. This is a well-established hospital in the heart of Dallas, and an excellent therapy team is already in place! Immediate interviews and offers.

MORE ABOUT THE OT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST POSITION:

1. Demonstrate excellence in customer service and public relations to promote a positive professional image
2. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations
3. Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients. Modify therapy program and goals.
4. Perform thorough and concise clinical documentation promptly. Enter charges accurately.
5. Communicate effectively with patients and families, departmental coworkers, and members of the medical care team. Provide education to patients, family, and staff.
6. Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
7. Impart knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues.
8. Adhere to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
9. Maintain awareness of system goals. Align personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact the system goals.
10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of occupational therapy services

JOB REQUIREMENTS FOR THE OT OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST:

1. 1 year of acute care experience required
2. Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
3. Successful completion of the National Certification Examination
4. Valid OT license in TX
