Hydration Room®, a vitamin IV and injection therapy clinic, is looking for a motivated, a Part- time Licensed Vocational Nurse to staff our Pasadena clinic.

ABOUT THE POSITION: LVN's must have proficiency in starting IV's. The ideal candidate is positive, outgoing, a great multitasker and able to make their patients feel at ease.


Full-Time Requirements: 5 shifts a week, ideally working Wednesdays through Fridays, from 9:30 to 6:30 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-5pm.

The Licensed Vocational Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner or Doctor. Responsibilities include following the plan of care, providing treatments, and working collaboratively with the members of the team to help meet positive patient care outcomes in a fast-paced environment. The LVN will assist the Nurse with all duties while enhancing the customer experience at Hydration Room.


This position will be a non-exempt position that reports to the District Lead Nurse, District Clinic Manager and the Regional Clinic Director at the Hydration Room.


Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Nurse or Nurse Practitioner with IV's and injection vitamin therapies as needed.
  • Provides direct patient care as defined in the state Nurse Practice Act.
  • Implements a plan of care initiated by the registered nurse or Nurse Practitioner.
  • Perform basic administrative, clerical, and technical supportive services to coordinate patient care.
  • Manages the clinic patient booking schedule to ensure customer satisfaction and consistent flow throughout the day.
  • Works with RN to maintain clinic and nursing supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Helping patients over the phone, returning important voicemails, and facilitating the booking, scheduling, rescheduling and cancellation process.
  • Onboarding new patients
  • Understands great customer service, general sales, and patient care.
  • Recommend membership programs, and packages to patients.
  • Keeps the clinic in compliance with Hydration Room inspections before and after each shift.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and clean environment for customers by following protocols for cleanliness in the clinic.
  • Assist customers with a point-of-sale system at the beginning and end of services, which includes overseeing cash shift procedures.
  • Retrieve phone messages, return phone calls, and chart documentation in a timely manner as needed and conduct patient call backs when needed.
  • Stocking IV cart and the hard stock in the nurse room. Notify nurse of any shortages in supplies.
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by the clinic team, RN, or physician.
  • Deliver 5 Star Customer service to all patients to ensure they have a positive experience.
  • Conduct training of new staff members.

Education and Experience:
  • Two years of nursing experience preferred with extensive experience in starting IV's.
  • LVN License in California (Required)
  • IV/Blood Draw Certification (Preferred)
  • BLS Certification (Required)
  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred..
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Prolonged periods of walking or standing.
  • Visual acuity and hearing to perform nursing skills.
  • Must be able to traverse the entire facility.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
  • Considerable reaching, stopping, bending, kneeling or crouching.Visual acuity and hearing to perform required nursing skills.


Compensation details: 28-33 Hourly Wage
