ProMedica Adult Medicine Clinic is seeking to add a board eligible / board certified Internal / Family Medicine (Primary Care) Physician to their established practice - located on the campus of ProMedica Toledo Hospital in Toledo, OH. 

  • Full time position (4-5 days/week)
  • Established, busy ambulatory clinic located at the Medical Office Building on the campus of Toledo Hospital
  • Provides comprehensive medical services following a patient care medical home model
  • Interest in teaching/mentoring, collaborating with APPs
  • Possibly a leadership role within the office to assist with supervision of office providers and creating and enforcing clinical policies
  • Currently 2 physicians and 5 NPs
  • Call Coverage: weekly rotation and after hours call
  • Internal Medicine, BE/BC
  • Clinic hours are M-F, 7 am – 8 pm (flexibility)

 Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive primary medical care to patients of all ages, including physical examinations, diagnosing, and treating acute and chronic illnesses, and prescribing medications.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and medical records.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and quality patient care.
  • Educate patients about preventative care, healthy lifestyle choices, and disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to date patient records using electronic health records systems.
  • Stay informed about the latest medical advancements, research, and the best primary care.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development activities, including networking, councils, and boards.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
  • Valid medical license to practice in Ohio
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or related field
  • New graduates and experienced providers are both encouraged to apply
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Interest in being a part of leadership committees or councils
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
