You are Pinnacle’s front line. You transform donated human tissue into high-precision products for use as surgical implants. You have direct ownership of the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process, creating life-changing treatments for ailments ranging from spinal disc degeneration to foot wounds.

At Pinnacle Transplant Technologies you are in control of your career path, with our skills-based pay program. Entry Level Technicians’ starting pay begins at $21.00 and as you continue to develop your skills your pay continues to increase up to $34.00 as a Level 4 Processing Technician. In addition, we also offer an 11% shift differential for Shift B: Monday – Thursday 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM and Shift C: Friday – Sunday 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM.

We are looking for a Processing Technicians with experience operating and/programming a CNC machine.

What You Will Do

$21.00 Hourly Pay

Level 1 Processing Technician – Consistently demonstrates proficiency to company standards

  • Support / maintain 5S practices and standards.
  • Teamwork, collaboration, and respectful interactions.
  • Comply with all applicable OSHA, FDA, cGMP, cGTP, AATB, HIPPA, AORN, Universal Precautions, and PTT Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Manufacture some tissue products (may include lyophilization) in accordance with the Production Schedule, compliant with PTT QMS, and at expected output rates and tissue yield standards.
  • Document all manufacturing steps executed compliant with PTT QMS, and at expected output rates.
  • Contain and disposition all non-conformances per PTT QMS procedures. 
  • Lead setting up, tearing down, decontaminating, and sterilizing cleanroom spaces and equipment compliant with PTT QMS and at expected output rates.
  • Stay current on all company required training.
  • Other duties as assigned.

$23.50 Hourly Pay

Level 2 Processing Technician – Consistently demonstrates proficiency to company standards in additional tasks.

  • Learn and apply some Lean principles achieving improved operations.
  • Manufacture most tissue products in accordance with the Production Schedule, compliant with PTT QMS, and at expected output rates.
  • Document all manufacturing steps executed compliant with PTT QMS, and at expected output rates.
  • Contribute to setting up, tearing down, decontaminating, and sterilizing cleanroom spaces and equipment compliant with PTT QMS and at expected output rates.
  • Ensure all staff and contractors comply with applicable OSHA, ISO 13485, FDA cGMP, cGTP, HIPPA, AATB, and PTT Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
  • Effectively train and coach all Level 1 Processing associates.

$27.00 Hourly Pay

Level 3 Processing Technician – Consistently demonstrates proficiency to company standards in additional tasks

  • Active in COO approved ASQ, AATB, Lean Manufacturing, or similar personal development.
  • Assume a “donor owner” leadership role maximizing the gift of donation.
  • Manufacture most tissue products in accordance with the Production Schedule, compliant with PTT QMS, and at expected output rates.
  • Document all steps of the manufacturing steps executed compliant with PTT QMS, and at expected output rates.
  • Master and deploy Lean principles across all Processing operations achieving improved operations.
  • Effectively train and coach all Level 1 and Level 2 Processing associates.

$34.00 Hourly Pay

Level 4 Processing Shift Lead - Consistently demonstrates proficiency to company standards in additional tasks

  • Achievement of approved development to a certification, degree, and demonstrated proficiency or equivalent.
  • Effectively train and coach all Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 Processing associates.
  • Effectively lead each assigned shift achieving acceptable results as measured by Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety and Morale.
  • Recommend Processing Technicians for promotion and/or disciplinary action to area manager.
  • Compile and maintain assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct daily Gemba walks focused on PTT QMS compliance across all assigned operations.

What Qualifications You Will Bring

  • High School diploma or GED preferred

Who You Will Partner With

  • Your Production Supervisor. You will have daily verbal and written communication with your Supervisor and/or Production Leadership to ensure daily production goals are understood and executed with speed and quality.
  • Your Team. Regularly work in independent and team settings maintaining professional communication with all PTT team members.

Where You Will Work

You will work in a clean room environment in a manufacturing facility in North Phoenix, having contact with human tissue and bone. You are required to wear protective clothing including but not limited to hoods, face masks, gloves, boots, and coveralls.

Your work is physical in nature. It will require standing for long periods of time, exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. It also requires repetitive motion with substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.

You may be required to use equipment including but not limited to band saw, surgical instrumentation, autoclave, lyophilizer, moisture analyzer, heat sealer, sonicator, microscope, centrifuge, controlled rate freezer, cryo mill, calipers, desktop computers, and general office equipment.
