Maintenance Shop Manager

Gebbers Farms is the premier family owned and operated Orchard and Packing Operation in North Central Washington. Known for our SugarBee and Rockit apples and beautiful summer cherries. Headquartered on the Columbia River in Brewster, WA.

Currently, we have an opening for an experienced Shop Manager.

The manager will work on the big-picture side of the maintenance work, implementing strategies and work planning. The manager will ensure communication, cohesiveness and consistency amongst all shop departments and locations. The shops service both the warehouse and orchard operations.

The shop manager is responsible for cost control and budget management with monthly reporting.

Functions of the Shop Manager:

- Maintain a best in class safe and clean work environment.

- General Organization of Shop Schedules

- Work with shop supervisors to establish appropriate personnel and duties for each shop location

- Ensure accuracy of parts and supplies inventory

- Ensure proper time keeping being done

- Evaluate shop employee performance

- Regularly evaluate facilities

- Work with Vendors

- Oversee PO System and set SOPs

- Budgeting

- Approve Emergency procedures

- Ensure regular training schedules are in place
