Job Description
The Millwright | Third Person | Entry-Level is responsible for having general knowledge of construction work, welding and use of tools; the ability to handle heights, follow orders, and to work safely; the willingness to be on the road four nights per week (unless otherwise requested).
Travel Requirements:
Frequent travel, including overnight
Hours:
M-F, 7:00 am – 6:00 PM; weekends as needed
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Learn to weld gauges
- Assist in the forming, placing and finishing of concrete work
- Adhere to safety procedures to be followed in excavations, welding and cutting, dust, fumigants, rigging, etc.
- Maintain equipment and tools used on the crew trucks
- Interest in learning and attentive when being instructed
- Interest in permanent job
- Familiar with the location of tools on the crew trucks
- Must own and be able to use a steel tape
- Willing and capable of working proficiently at heights
- Must show an active interest and willingness to learn how to interpret drafting drawings
- Must demonstrate an active interest and willingness to promote safety on the job
- Must demonstrate the willingness and desire to accomplish a quality job
- Other duties as assigned

- Basic mechanical knowledge of mechanical components
