Mortgage Data Analyst

Do you have a passion for data and a proven track record in collateral management or data analysis within the mortgage servicing or custodial banking industry?

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contract Custodian Management Process Specialist to join our team in Dallas, TX for a temporary 90-day engagement. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal role in finalizing the buildout of our end-to-end Custodian Management process.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement automated data flows for onboarding new loans onto each custodian platform.
• Develop and configure processes to ingest data files from various custodians (including potential experience with specific custodians like Deutsche Bank, Wilmington Trust, and BNY Mellon) into our central data warehouse.
• Build and maintain a comprehensive oversight dashboard to provide real-time visibility into collateral held at each custodian.
• Establish an efficient missing document retrieval process to ensure all necessary documentation is readily available.
• Reduce the number of outstanding GNMA Final and Recertifications to less than a year.
• Integrate the Custodian Management process with our overall Collateral Management Database.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in a Collateral department within mortgage servicing or data analysis role within a custodial bank  is a strong plus.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and implement data management solutions.
• Experience with data warehousing and data transformation techniques.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
