Head of Asset Management

Overview:

Our company is a multi-billion dollar owner and developer of real estate, primarily in south Florida, with some projects in New York, Los Angeles and around the US.  Our primary focus is on multifamily investments and development, but we also own and operate 7 hotels and some office, retail and industrial properties. 

We are seeking a highly skilled Head of Development and Property Management.  This role will primarily involve overseeing construction projects and the management of thousands of apartment units and the development of high- rise office, hotel and apartment properties.

Scope of Responsibilities:

Conduct monthly operational reviews, analyzing financial results and devising management strategies to optimize cost savings and revenue growth.

Perform due diligence on legal documents, financial reports, operating projections, sales comps, surveys, and marketing information.

Make investment recommendations including renovations, major capital expenditures, rental rates, and overall deal strategy, considering current market conditions.

Collaborate closely with operating partners across the portfolio to ensure efficient operations.

Work with the product and technology team to develop tools for automating processes and leveraging data effectively.

Conduct regular and ad-hoc financial analysis, reviewing revenue data, forecasts, performance metrics, and profit/loss statements.

Review asset valuations quarterly and propose strategies to enhance portfolio value.

Utilize internal and external data sources to innovate and monitor portfolio health.

Prepare annual asset plans for presentation to the investment committee and participate in periodic presentations to investment partners.

About You:

MBA and some real estate industry experience required

Expertise in real estate investments, financial modeling, cash flow valuation, and underwriting.

Strong analytical, financial, and quantitative skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

Proficiency in interpreting property-level financial statements and conducting financial analysis.
