Job Description: Mill Set Up Specialist 

 The Mill Setup Specialist is responsible for setting up and preparing ingredients to make flour. These include filling Micro bins, hanging bulk bags, loading overhead bins. The objective is to provide clean and safe working area while providing the necessary ingredient availability to the Milling operators. 

Job duties: 

• Retrieve and deliver material ready for use in milling campaign. 

• Load hoppers, Overhead bins, bulk bins with necessary ingredients. 

• Assist in the calculation of needed ingredients. 

• Daily setup and operation of mill according to published parameters. 

• Promptly relay information to Mill Manager, and Mill Operators regarding problems, safety concerns or suggestions. 

• Report, document, and repair any discrepancies found within your work area. 

• Must maintain good housekeeping and safety practices. 

• Conduct quality Checks to ensure quality specifications are being met. 

• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

Job Requirements: 

• Must be able to use forklift and boom lift. 

• Comply with safety policies, including Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO). 

• Able to follow policies and procedures in conduction job tasks. 

• Able to work with a team and independently. 

• Proficient in computer skills including email. 

• Intermediate Math level required. 

Physical Requirements 

Must be able to: 

Tolerate a loud, dusty and non-temperature-controlled environment. 

Stand, walk, grasp with hands, reach both down to the ground and overhead while lifting, climb stairs and ladders, talk and hear, speak, read and write in English, lift up to 75lbs, 

The use of steel toe boots, safety glasses, and ear protection is required. 

Hours:
Monday - Thursday 
       4am - 3pm

Compensation: $20 per hour
