We are seeking a talented, dedicated individual committed to work under the highest ethics standards for the following position:

• Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Reviews and analyzes process and equipment data to ensure they are well maintained. Track equipment failure and frequency.
• Improves equipment reliability through FMEA, root cause analysis, and 8D problem solving methods.
• Develop maintenance job plans, troubleshooting guidelines and equipment care manuals for Solid Oral Dosage Equipment. (i.e. Blender, granulators, tablet presses, coating equipment) and Utilities Systems (i.e. Air compressors, purified water systems, air handling units).
• Assesses and improves predictive maintenance program (ultrasound, vibration analysis, lubrications, among others)
• Identify critical spare parts, major components, and long lead items identification.
• Will perform forecasts costs and expenditures for operation and maintenance of assigned systems.
• Develops cost reduction projects that reduce operating and maintenance expenses of those systems.
• Understands and applies 5S methodology to increase efficiency and promote a safe work environment.
• Intermediate knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and systems including pumps, pneumatics, fans, flow meters, air handling systems, industrial chilled water, heating, process piping, rotating equipment, vibration analysis and heat transfer.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
• 5+ years working experience in pharmaceutical/Biologics business as reliability engineer or related position in past;
• GMP knowledge (in pharmaceutical) is must to have.
• Willing to take charge with ownership
