Founding Enrichment Teacher

Excelsior Village Academies, Inc. is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Founding Enrichment Teacher to join our team. As a founding teacher, you will have the exciting opportunity to develop and lead engaging and enriching programs that complement our core curriculum and provide students with a well-rounded education. You will be responsible for planning and implementing specialized lessons in your area of specialty that expose students to new experiences, interests, and skills. This position reports to the Director of Students.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive enrichment program in your area of specialty that aligns with the school's mission and values.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities in your area of specialty such as art, music, physical education, foreign languages, coding, etc.
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and exploration.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate enrichment lessons into the core curriculum.
• Provide individualized support and guidance to students based on their interests and needs.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to students and families.

Requirements

• Passion for developing and delivering enriching educational experiences.
• Strong knowledge and experience in specialty areas of enrichment such as art, music, physical education, foreign languages, coding, etc.
• Creativity and ability to design engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in education, specialty area or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience is preferred.
• Clear background check.
