We’re hiring for a Barista at our West End location!

The Barista is a highly-motivated CYM Team Member with a knowledge of and passion for coffee. You will work alongside our Front of House team members to interact directly with CYM guests and create great first impressions. Your friendly and positive attitude will ensure guests leave happier than when they arrived. This role will focus primarily on making and serving coffee, tea, and espresso drinks but will also cross-train our front of house roles including cashier, expo, and food runner and assist with those duties as needed.

You’ll be a great addition to the CYM team if you meet these requirements:

• Have 1+ years of strong technical barista skills in all areas of drink preparation (i.e., brewing, espresso, milk)
• Are familiar with internal workings of coffee brewing machines and troubleshooting
• Have your Food Safety Certification required (ServSafe Manager’s Certification)
• Are customer service-oriented and have a passion for the guest experience
• Thrive in a fast-paced and high-energy environment
• Treat others with kindness and respect
• Are a team player and always willing to help others
• Communicate clearly and efficiently with guests and staff
• Can work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends and holidays. We are only closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

• Starting wage: $17/hourly, plus tips for all positions. With tips, your pay is likely to range from $20-24/hour.
